Today I saw my first adult patient. It was kind of scary. It was fun to see what calculus actually feels like. Stephanie helped me know what to look for. I need to be more agressive and not worry about if they bleed quite as much.

Today I felt like I did better with the paper work but I didn't do as well with remembering what order to do things in. I cleaned the teeth before disclosing so it didn't do much good. Before my pt next time I need to have a game plan all figured out so the appointment goes smoothly. It is my first adult pt on wednesdy. IT is stressful seeing pts but it is also very exciting.

Today I saw my first patient. It was a little less stressful doing a child than an adult. I still need to work on knowing how to fill out all the paper work and know how to adapt the treatment to a child. for example what items need to be done and which ones are not necessary. Most of them are self explanitory but others aren't as much. I can't believe how much I forgot over the break. I need to do a major review of all information in the clinic manuel for next time.

I am glad I got to CA first. It helped me orient myself to the office and where all the supplies can be found. There are also other processes we do that make more sence because I know the reasons behind them.
